Grade 2 Week 25

This is from way back in early February.  I borrowed Ethel and Ernest after we watched the animated adaptation of it, and fell in love with the story.

You, on the other hand, continue to read a wide range of subjects, and I am so grateful to have access to a library to feed that voracity.

At this point, we were still talking about famous African American figures in our history, and you enjoyed drawing posters of them.
We also experimented with Oil Pastels.

You do not limit your creativity to just the home.  Whenever we are at Bible Class, you would grab a marker and start drawing.  More often than not, you listen to the conversation that is going on in the background, and sort of illustrate our thoughts on the whiteboard.

This photo seems random, but it is actually your spider made from Q-tips and some Blu Tack.

We made some muffin, and as we all know, you love to help me bake. The whole hands-on thing is a big thrill to you.

When the rewards are as yummy as this, who wouldn't be enthusiastic.

We managed to get in some play time at the indoor play area at the nearby church,

as well as find time to get tangled up in daddy's t shirt.
