"Play Play Play"

That's something you've picked up from watching The Wonder Pets, and I guess, from me saying it when we go out and play etc.

Nowadays, when you know that there's playing involved, you REALLY want to get out of your carseat when we get to a playground or get home so that you can go run around, play, and explore. And you will look at me with those "hurry up and get me over there!" look on your face, while pleading, "PLAY ! PLAY! PLAY!".

Last week we were at Fort Imagination over by the Zoo,

and then we stopped by our neighbour, Ben's house. It just so happened that he was having a party and had his family and kids over, and of course, they had brought along their own toys!

Then just a few days ago, we were over at Clyde, exploring, and thought that we would stop by the really neat playground over there for you to play play play! :)

Words of the Day

Your vocabulary has been expanding quite a bit lately, and you have definitely been trying to sound out words. You can follow along most of the alphabet and numbers, sounding them out, but your current favourite words ( at least for tonight ) were "UP, momma" and "DOWN, momma".

And as if to make sure that we knew that YOU knew those words, you were throwing your arms UP when you said "UP!" and bringing them back down when you said "DOWN!".

You also gave your poor dad a fright when you demonstrated your comprehension of the words by climbing UP onto momma's study chair, and then standing up in the chair while going "UP!" , and then crouching down while saying "DOWN!". Over and Over.

THAT activity didn't last very long, to say the least. :)
