We haven't been able to go do all the Christmassy Activities that we usually would have been doing .... and so I've had to muster up all the stamina I can, to make up for some of that.

This morning we're having special pancakes to have our own Breakfast with Santa(rina)!

Putting the Topper on

It's kind of a tradition with you and Daddy, to put the Tree Topper on.  This year, you are almost as tall as HE is. I know he remembers so very fondly the days when he would have to carry you and lift you up to put the topper on :)

You had your first experience rolling out some fondant, and we tried to follow the instructions closely.

I think we did quite well! Now we wait for it to dry.

I thought we would do something different this year, seeing how we just build houses year after year. 

This is only the first step. We assembled the pieces, and will wait for the royal icing glue to harden before continuing.

Decorating Cookies

I would say you have mastered the intricacies of piping the icing, and are at the mercy of my poor icing-making skills.

Nevertheless, this is something you LOVE to do.
