Buzzard Watching

We get a lot of buzzards/?eagles out here but they aren't usually so close we can hear the crazy loud flapping of their massive wings. 

This day, one of them WAS that close and so we stopped and watch it fly about a bit.

We have recently started playing Minecraft together again, and building an online LAN world together. It has been absolutely fabulous and so much fun, and usually when I say that it is time to log off, you will start your stalling tactics. :P

It's fun to go exploring the Minecraft world with you.

You built the house as well as horse stables, and I did a little landscaping :)

Anyway, today we had some time, and kept encountering problems getting on. I thought it was a problem with my computer until we went to downdetector and saw this.

It was a relief to find out that it wasn't something wrong on OUR end, but it was like, "Bummer, man, I really wanted to continue our adventures today, but oh well."

More Baking!

We tried to make some Stuffed Crust Pizza using our Mozarella Sticks.  Some leaked out during the baking because we hadn't gotten the dough sealed enough, but otherwise, it worked out Okay. :)

This Year We are doing Physics

I never was very good at Physics in school, but you are a natural at Math, so I am sure you will do swimmingly.

What a pity.

I wanted to get back into the Kinecting bit of the Xbox - it had been forever since we used it, having gotten it when you were so little.

When we started it up, it started acting really weird and strange, glitching and whatnot.  You managed to get in a game or two before it kept sputtering in its death throes and finally would not start up again.

Adieu, Xbox. You gave us many many hours of pleasure and fun.  Maybe one day we will get into your guts to see if you can be resurrected.

Snake Poo

We've been walking in the mornings, a few rounds each time, just shooting the breeze and noticing the world around us.  We've been seeing animal poo on our walks, and have identified this one as Snake Poo. 

Being out in the country, this isn't a strange sight. We just have to be a little more alert and stay out of the tall grass.

You're 16! 

Time is such a paradox though. It seems like not that long ago since you were a little, little boy, but at the same time, it sometimes feels like so much time has passed as well!  It certainly is a weird feeling.

We love you so much and are eternally grateful to have been able to be your parents.  You are exceedingly sweet and kind, and that mind of yours is truly keen and amazing. Mwaks.
