Finally, a Haircut!

I have been dying to give you a haircut for the longest time now, but you and your Daddy seem to be quite content to let the massiveness of hair on your head continue to grow.

So, I was quite taken aback when I broached the subject again and you nonchalantly agreed to have a trim!

I whipped out the Handy Dandy Hair-Catching-Pop-Up-Contraption and snipped away to my heart's content.  As your locks fell into the little tray thingy, my heart felt lighter and lighter.

Of course, I could never give you a really close / buzz type cut, making sure that there was still plenty to keep Daddy happy :)

p/s : I wonder, when/if you look back at this in a decade or two's time, would you remember which movie you asked to watch?

Hint #1 : Speedy Non-Rodent
Hint #2 : A Sequel is coming out soon, and you hope to review the first movie before we catch the second one.

Homeschool

Unorthodox? Maybe. But you assure me you are indeed comfortable.

Very much No-Shadow-Flying-Kick vibes galore.  And how can one resist Angry Chewbacca Bird?

Cycling Again!

We had put the cycling on hold when the Hendrick Covid-19 Community Safety Dial was at its all time high in Abilene, all the way up to Emergency Levels. With daily new cases in the 500s, we were not about to have a mishap that would land one of us in the Emergency Room. That would have been very irresponsible.

However, of late, the number of new cases have been coming down and Hendrick has dialed their Safety Dial down a few notches.  You have been very patient and understanding, way beyond your years.  BUT, when we told you that you could ride your bike again, you really could not contain your excitement. :)

Ride on, my child, and stay safe. :)

From Halfway Across the World

You needed some fresh Liquid Paper / Wite-Out / Correction Fluid.  Amazon had them for 97 cents a bottle.  It was a no brainer.

Needless to say, I got more than one.
Or Two.
Or Three, even.
I'll not embarrass myself by saying how many I ACTUALLY got. Let's just leave it that they will last you a while.

And guess where they were made? Just about halfway across the world, where I hail from.

Neat, huh? ( No Pun Intended )

Bowling Snow Balls

You wanted to see the cool effect of the snowball disintegrating as it traveled along the pebbly path.

The first one didn't turn out quite as we wanted, but the second one did splendidly.

The Get-Up

You had outgrown your coats and jackets - and finally fit well in Daddy's Jackets..

Which came in handy because we needed all the insulation we could get with the sub-freezing temperatures outside.

Here I took a photo of you trying to bounce a snowball off of me, cheeky little one.

An Unconventional Snowman

So you decided to brave the cold and venture outside.

A little while later, I'm asked if I could let you have my phone to take some photos of A Snowman that you had made.

Et, voila. A Snowman Sitting On A Chair. Complete With Legs.
