That is one seriously cool arcade game,

but with that price tag, I am afraid you will only get to play it at the store. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Playground Time with the Cousins

We got to meet up again with Frances, Anastasia and Allen while they were here for Thanksgiving, and squeezed in some much appreciated Playground Time with them :)
I've always thought that it was really sweet of the kids that, while they were a bit older than you, that they still take time to play and such with you.

When you guys were much younger, the age difference didn't feel that great, but now that they are teenagers, the discrepancy is a little bit more pronounced.

Nevertheless, it was great to meet up with them, as we really don't get to see them but once or twice a year. :)

The Discovery of Minesweeper

Someone has discovered that our TV comes with some built-in games, one of them being Minesweeper, and has been spending some time trying to Beat The Clock.

Mexican Train-ing with Cindy

Sometimes when we get to the indoor playground,  there aren't any other children around.  I suggested that while we wait for some other kids to get there, that we could borrow one of the board games that they had at the coffee area to bide time with.

That's how we ended up with the box of Dominoes, and Cindy taught us how to play Mexican Train. :)

G4 W14 Arty Sundays

I try to make time on Sundays to have some sort of Artsiness or Craftiness, since that is one thing that you do love.

This time, we tried to paint a Fall Scene, with different colored leaves being blown off a tree by the wind.

You loved mixing all the different colors,

and at the end of the lesson, even used the leftover paint to make a creation that was all your own.

I thought it was quite Van Gogh-esque.  Way to go, little boy :)

Whistle while you work..

We try to keep ourselves occupied whenever we are in the car, waiting for daddy to get there...

Sequence

Every now and then, we still pull out the Sequence Game and go a few rounds.  Every time we play, you get better and better at strategizing and thinking ahead :)

Thank you Stephanie again, for this wonderful gift from many years ago!

G4 W13 Squash heads

We are such cheapskates that we bought only ONE pumpkin the whole time during "Harvest Season" and Halloween.

Then, Halloween was over with, and there came big discounts on Squashes and Pumpkins.

I didn't relish the thought of having huge pumpkins to decorate again, so we chose 2 smaller squashes to decorate with Stickers that we had gotten at one of the trick or treating venues we were at.

Voila.

R.I.P. Howard the Halloween Squash

Howard the Halloween Squash finally succumbed to time and moldiness, and we had a little bit of a farewell for him out in the driveway/yard/wilderness.

Jaxon's Board Game

You came up with your own board game today, and we played a few rounds of it, giggling the whole say.  It was actually a lot of fun.

It even came with like, "Chance" cards and little stand-up Player Token deals, which were your Comic Characters, Monty Moose, Joe and Doctor Bugg.  I think the last one, with the curly hair, was actually yourself.

I mean, how could anyone resist playing that?

G4 W12 The Napkin Doodler

I love the sesame seeds on the bun and the uneven French Fry sticks.
