Let's see.... spaghetti with ground turkey and spinach dip with crackers, Turkey Chili with Potatoes,   Pizza, Rotini with Salmon Patties, Eggplant Lasagna.

Height Update

It is a little over a month before your 12th birthday, and we thought we would measure your height today. Well, here's the result.

5 foot 8 at age 11.9 years old.

Way beyond the 99th percentile,

about the height of a 16 year old.

Let's see. Mashed Potatoes with Chicken and Chickpeas, Chicken Pita? Mac and Cheese with Egg, Ravioli and ? Sandwich.

G6 W27 Last Night's Dinner, This Morning

Okay, we have Superbowl Food, Egg Noodles, Salmon and Potatoes, Chicken Pot Pie, Dumplings and.... chicken with corn and beans. 

Record Freezes

We have been living under freezing temperatures for several days now, and trying to keep as warm as we can.

You got all bundled up with multiple layers of jackets and hoodies to go outside for a bit.  We hadn't been outside except when it was absolutely necessary, because it is just too unbearably cold.

I think you lasted all of  5 minutes outside. :)

Happy Chinese New Year!

It is the year of the Ox!! YOUR year! 

My hope for you is that one day we will be able to enjoy Chinese New Year atmospherics in an authentically Chinese place - be it actually in Asia, or in an American Chinatown.

I do miss it so.

All Bundled Up

Do you remember a few winters ago, when you asked if I could stitch the symbol from the Roblox Game, "Adventure Forward 2" onto the beanie?

You look pretty cold there, boy :) It's going to get a lot colder, unfortunately. *sigh*

School

I haven't been posting much about school of late, only because it goes on and on, day after day.

I figured, at some point, when you are old and grey, and steeping in nostalgia, that you might remember some of the times we spent "doing school". :) 

I will remember them as not being easy in the least, but I loved every extra moment I got to spend with you, learning together.

Rice with chicken and potatoes, Pasta with navy beans and salmon, Chili Cheese Dog, Peanut Butter, Hazelnut Spread and Banana Sandwich ( NOT last night's dinner ), and I am not sure what the last pic is...some sort of Fried Rice, perhaps?
