You've been drawing faces just about every time you have a crayon in your hand. We would be practising writing our ABCs, or tracing shapes or coloring, and you will always end up drawing faces and giving them personalities. :)

 

You also love to draw the "ladder hairstyle" on your creations....... 

 

A lot of the time, there'll be a "back story" to your illustrations. :) I've written most of these down by your drawings and even if I don't manage to save the drawings themselves, I will at least try to have them saved as photographs.

Bundle of Energy

We got an Xbox Kinect for Christmas, and you've been having a grand time.  Your current favorite game(s) is the Pixar Rush ones, that has Up, Toy Story, Cars, The Incredibles and Ratatouille. :)

Maybe it's your height, but sometimes the sensor doesn't quite catch your jumps, so sometimes you have to do these squat-jumps :)

All in all, we've had a fabulous time partnering up on the games and whatnot, and getting all that energy out and tackling some of that winter cabin fever. oh, yes, and see the mat? That's because you keep wandering about and the sensor loses sight of you, which would be quite frustrating :)

It may have been raining for 2 days straight,

but last month we had a few really nice days where you could be outside and playing with your construction toys in the dirt :)

You love playing outside any chance you get, and I don't help that happen as much as I should, and I hope that in this new year, that'll change. I don't make resolutions very much, but I will try to make it a point to help make sure you get to play and run outside as much as the weather / mozzies /schedules allow. :)
