Splashin' Jax'n

It has been raining for a few days and you have been asking to go and splash and jump around in the muddy puddles. 

I didn't know if we would be able to do it or not because I have had  a migraine for a few days but after a short Sunday nap today I felt so much better and thought that we would come out and let you play in whatever was left of the muddy puddles.

After several very gloomy glum cloudy dark grey days today was very sunny and bright . We were very lucky because there was still one little muddy puddle that was full.

Hurray for muddy puddles!

A Typical School Day

Usually our school day starts uneventfully enough...

like this day, when we were learning about planets and made a poster of the planets, did some coloring and cutting practice and did the whole "My Very Excellent Mother Just Served Us Noodles" mnemonic to remember the order of the planets.

THEN, things start to get silly.  You would say something like, "Hey, Mommy, here's something you can't stand", and start to shake your bottom at me, giggling the whole time. :)

And if I walk off for a few minutes and leave you to do your own work, this is what I come back to.

Yes, the numbers have become tooting creatures and more tooting animals have invaded our math worksheet.  :

Missing Cindy

It has been almost 4 months since Cindy left for Africa, and I hadn't realised that you were still missing her badly, until last Friday. Every night, when we say our prayers, we always pray for Cindy in Africa, but how can you not miss her, she is the next closest person to you after mommy and daddy.

Anyway, as usual, after Bible Class, you like to draw on the white board.

Well, this time, out of the blue, you drew an airplane,

a lady in red ( Cindy's favorite color ) ,

and a very sad looking little boy....
