During the cold snap, we hardly had snow. Just a few flakes fluttering down now and then.
But there WAS ice. Which was probably less fun, but still interesting enough to keep a little boy intrigued.
The weeds and grass all had a layer of ice on them, making them look like chandelier pieces on the ground, shimmering all around us.
Of course, you HAD to threaten to eat it, like you always did as a little one.
Pretty, aren't they?
It is a pity it couldn't stay this way.
It was really quite magical.
This was also the week we met up with Patsy and The Boys.
They were here over the Christmas Holidays and so we met up at Beltway Baptist for some fun times.
Cindy, Patsy and I talked,
while the boys were let loose in The Play Area.
Look at those good looking boys :)
This moment in time : Jaylen 11, Brayden 10, Jaxon 8.
We also did some ART! One of your favorite subjects, which we need to do more often.
I love your interpretation, though :)
There was a simple "New Year Fireworks" craft at the library that week, and of course, you dove right in :)
And who could resist when you ask to go to the playground :)
