Nature's beauty

You found the husk of an insect that had been left behind after it had molted.

Pretty exquisite, don't you think?

The Famous Pre-Walk Camping Chair Chattery

Many years later, when you look back at this blog, I wonder how much you will remember about your childhood days.

I don't shoot video of you often enough, and I certainly don't put them on here nearly enough, and so here's one that has been roughly put together, capturing a little bit of the humor of When You Were Eleven.

Last Night's Dinner, This Morning.

Okay, so this is going to be somewhat of a series.

For one thing,  The Pandemic.

Which means we are not going out anywhere, anytime soon.

Which translates to - there aren't going to be a lot of interesting photos of stuff we did Outside.

So, I decided I would record what leftovers you would eat for breakfast, on the mornings that there ARE leftovers left over.  Then, you could pretty much get an idea of the sort of nutrition you were getting at this point in your life.

Also, since I cook Every Meal EVERY SINGLE DAY, this could be sort like a rolodex of recipes to cycle through.

So here goes the inaugural photo.

G5 W48 The Pretzel Woods

We haven't been anywhere since March, and really, there isn't really much I can write about, what with the virus and everything.

So, the material to put on here gets a little thin, as you can see.  Hopefully it gets better.

Although, I have to say, this little masterpiece of yours is quite adorable.

Piano Practice

I didn't grow up learning to play the piano, although it was one of my biggest wishes as a young girl, BUT now you get the chance, and you have been basically teaching yourself from the Alfred books.

We don't go as fast as if you went to a regular piano teacher with structured practice and whatnot.... but in the end, what I really want is for you to love playing, and nurture that creativity of yours... and if you go at a much slower pace than conventional, who cares, right?

Here you are, proudly showing me what you can do.
