Happy 10 months, baby :)

A lot has been happening, but here's just a few recaps. I really ought to be better about blogging all of this. I DO have a journal where I write just about every night, though, about the little things that you do every day :)

Anyway, in a nutshell,

you are cruising pretty well now, enough to get into all kinds of scrapes
your personality is REALLY showing now, especially when you're not done with playing or bath time, but mummy says "All Done".
You love ripping paper towels, paper napkins, just about anything that can be ripped
You push yourself BACKWARDS with your little feet when you're in your little car thingy
For some reason, your hair seems lighter brown nowadays. I kinda like it :)
You won't leave cabinet doors within your reach well alone.
You break out in giggles just about every dinner time :)

Motor Skills and Dexterity

Things you are getting better at

1. Turning pages on a book ( a lot of times on demand! )

2. Bending your knees so that you can get from the standing back to sitting position again without falling unceremoniously on your tushie.

Today you did something amazing.. it may have been coincidental, but you were clapping clapping. You never clap. You may clasp your hands together at times, but never clapping. Anyway, you did it at dinner time. Daddy and I clapped along and said "clap clap clap" and you kept on clapping!

Growing out your two top front teeth

Pulling up on everything...you have the bottom shelf of my shelf all to yourself, but still you find my medical books on the higher shelf more enticing...

The OTHER side of the family

You got to meet your kow foo, Carter today! It was the first time you've met anyone from mummy's side of the family in the flesh, and he had a great time with everyone.
