Trying to catch some sleet on the ol' tongue, aye?
Perhaps you'll have more luck tomorrow, when it is 100 percent chance of snow. I know you are looking forward to THAT!

Let's see if I remember - Pasta with Chicken and Chickpeas, ?, Chili Dogs, Mac and Cheese with Ham, Pasta with mixed veg, Fried Rice with Mangos, #6 - Stewed Pork.
Though it may not look it, I tried to remember to give you a hair cut before Christmas Morning, because I was NOT going to have you looking like a bad Bob Ross impersonator when the photos were taken. :D
You wanted me to take a picture of how your shadow made you look like you had some mighty muscular arms :)
We have this little bump by the side of our walking path, that is gravel / caliche that was used to pave our walkway, waaaaaaay back when.
We had made the cookies a few days earlier, and waited till today to decorate them.
We made do with my unprofessional icing, and the stash of sprinkles up in the cupboard.
I think we did pretty good :)
... that I get to go on daily walks with my boys, weather permitting - which so far have been more good days than bad.
When the different times of the year come around, you love to help out with all the different traditions we have.
Here you are, putting that Jaxon touch and flair onto the Christmas Tree.
Or in this case, Mommy's Little Helper.
You certainly are tall enough to hang these gigantic outdoor ornaments in the upper branches better than I can :)
So beautiful that you thought nothing of going on our walk in shorts and a sleeveless tee! Your daddy and I weren't that brave - we had our jackets on :)
Such exuberance of youth, tho. :)
You had been needing one for a while now, and the order came in the mail today!
A New Chair!
Especially when it is in one of your favorite colors!
And it swivels!
And has an adjustable height pneumatic thingy!
And it has "Gamer Chair" in its name!
You helped some with the assembly, and learned a little bit about using an Allen Wrench.
The whole time I was putting it together ( with your help ), you would say that I was "Ikea"ing.
I am officially ( well, I have been for a while now, but still.. ) the shortest human in our nuclear family.
You have been growing like a weed during these quarantine months.
We just measured your height yesterday, and you are now 5'7".
At 11 years, 7 months, 3 weeks and 1 day.
😲
The little boy, after witnessing me squash a bothersome fly...
"The fly had not fled,
so he died, and is dead"
Daddy loves making homemade ice cream - cherry being his favorite flavor to do so..
And of course being the little one has its perks :) - including getting to lick the little plastic dasher :)
This morning, you came out of your room all incredulous, holding a tooth in your hand. You had been having breakfast, and out popped a tooth that had been wriggly.
It wouldn't be such a "thing", except that a couple of days ago, you had just shed another tooth.
And two more just a week or so ago.
You had been saying, "I don't lose any teeth for YEARS, and suddenly they are coming out all at the same time!"
I don't know that much about dentistry, and I don't remember all that clearly my own experiences with the shedding of teeth, but one quick google search later put my mind at ease. :)
We had had these books for a while now, obviously not having returned them because of not leaving home to the library during The Pandemic.
When Cindy told us she was coming out to bring us some food from George's, I thought that would be a good opportunity to get them back to the library.
We had to get you new shoes seeing how the old ones were worn, but more importantly, they were getting terribly small. I think most would argue that rather than the shoes shrinking, your FEET were the ones getting humongous. :P
Here we go... you are 5 foot 6 1/2 at approximately 11 years and 6 months. Still way off the charts.
