You are driving us a little batty with your crazy knock knock jokes :)
I think you were a little unclear of the concept, because the conversation would go as such :
Jaxon : Knock Knock
Mum : Who's there?
Jaxon : Shinga
Mum : Shinga Who?
Jaxon : Shinga who lives on a shoe! Get it??? *laughs hysterically*
ROFL
Every knock knock joke you would tell would end up with the person living in a shoe, on a shoe and anything else you could think of, with a shoe. I mean, it was driving me nuts! LOL
Then I thought I would introduce you to the actual concept of knock knock jokes, and after consulting a few websites, made you laugh even more hysterically when you finally GOT it. :)
Now you have a repertoire of knock knock jokes under your belt, some of which are
1. Atish = Atishoo! = Bless you
2. Cowsgo = Cowsgo who? = Cows don't go who, they go moo!
3. Boo = Boo Who? = Aw, don't cry!
4. Who = Who Who? = Hey you sound like an owl~
5. Yoo = Yoo Who? = Yes?
6. Alittleoldlady = Alittleoldlady who? = Hey, I didn't know you could yodel!
and a few more I can't remember for now :) And yes, you have been practising and practising them :)
Another thing you have been doing, is your special magic trick, which involves making food disappear... by eating them. LOL!

School
We are still pretty much going ahead with school stuff, still following the recommended books from the "Before Five in a Row" curriculum.
You are generally eager to learn - I mean, you can read like nobody's business now, and all that basic preschool stuff is way behind you.
I try to keep a rotation of different things to do in the hour and a half / two hours that we use for school ( about 4 - 5 days a week ), to keep you interested and learning. A lot of it is reinforcement, I suppose.
By no means do I want to be a Tiger Mom, but I'd hate for your enthusiasm not to be encouraged and nourished, ya know? :)
At the end of the day, I judge the length and breadth by your responses, and try not to push push push.

Fingers be Nimble
So proud of you! It took me long enough to post this, but back in early May, you learned how to button up actual buttons!

Playing Dress Up
I admit we don't have many dress up stuff in the house, but you still have several items that you love to use.
When we were over at the Tuttles' house for a dinner, they had a box of toys that had several dress up items, and of course you immediately started hamming it up :)
