Last visit of the season..

The Splash Pads are closing down this week, and today was the last warm day left before coolness takes over tomorrow. So, even though it wasn't a day that we normally would be out, we made a special trip anyway.

First, we stopped by the newly renovated pad over at Nelson Park,

and then drove over to our usual haunt, the one over at Redbud Park.

And it was a glorious day too :)

G5 W8 Chutes and Ladders... 2 ways!

I can't remember if this one ( the board game ) was a Christmas or Birthday present, but we have had many laughs playing it.. especially when someone has to take a spill down the dreaded chutes/slides.

I remember I got this one at Dittos for Kiddos a number of years ago, with travel play in mind.
