Taking out the Trash

You often walk out with me when I go get the trash/mail/newspaper.  This week, however, you wanted to be the one dragging back the trash can.

I decided to give you a chance, and hey, you did brilliantly!

We were over at Uncle Lin's house the other day, and we saw a Monarch butterfly that didn't look like it would be able to finish the trek down south for the winter.

You gently placed it on the hood of Uncle Lin's car and placed some leaves on it to "keep it warm".

Sweet boy.

Grade 2 Week 11

Hurray for Books!

We did all kinds of things this week, but you were very interested in the plant experiments that we did for Science.

At the library, they were had a craft table and of course you were instantly drawn to it.

You made a ninja!

This week we used the seedlings that we had grown in the past week and used it to determine how plants grow in relation to where light was.
