The Mother of Invention..

You told me later that you had seen this done somewhere else, and that you didn't come up with it,

but when you are feeling peckish, and mom tells you that you need to practise the piano, you need to come up with something, right?

Chuggin' On...

We're continuing school, usually starting about 10:30 in the morning - yeah, we don't start school early in this household..not usually.

And we continue to sharpen and practice our observation and recording skills...

A Boy and His Cat Part 436

School and A New Toy!

Hey, Science!

And what better science than Hands-On Science!

We got out the Hand Lenses and the Book Reader Light and observed, observed, observed.

THEN, it was time to whip out THIS baby.
Oooooo yeah.

I know, it only cost  $19.99 on Amazon ( Prime ),
and really, I got it for "free" from all the KICKS I had been doing on Shopkick and getting points and redeeming Amazon giftcards for.
Wait...it could even have been from Ibotta! Yes, every little bit helps.
(yes, shameless plugs)

We got to observe onion skin cells and scallion stalk "cells"!

Then the little boy got a little adventurous with the new toy :)

And we learned about looking up the Index in an Atlas :)
