On one of your laps around the "compound" on your bicycle, you stopped and told us that you had run over a snake!
Unfortunately, the snake didn't survive, and I really don't know how if it was a Yellowbelly RACER ( what I assumed it was from a quick Google Search ), that it couldn't have slid away fast enough.
